I haven’t posted for a long time. Numerous reasons spring to mind, but the most telling one is that I’m a lazy writer. This blog isn’t meant to be seen by millions, it’s more of an escape for me when the rigours of life get a little tiresome. Otherwise I’ll blog when I have had a decent experience that I feel deserves a little of my time to share with the world.
Emergent behaviour, Complexity theory, etc. I’ve often found myself thinking about these things but haven’t ever really had the ability to describe them well enough, or even categorize my thoughts. The charity shop by my new house is frankly a goldmine of 2nd hand books, and surprisingly a lot of them cover these subjects…and no, i don’t live at an educational facility or think tank! I’d love to find out who put them there, because it would be nice to meet like minded people in my area. Anyway, my gambling status has gone up a very significant degree. From what I understand, I can officially call myself “High-Stakes” and it is somewhat down to my thirst for knowledge. The biggest improvement I have made recently hasn’t been the skill set itself that i bring to bear with my poker exploits, but is actually the manner in which i’m learning. Emergent theory has had a lot to do with those improvements and has offered me countless new ways to look at my desired subject matter.
If you feel stuck and unable to progress take a look at learning theories rather than the subject itself.
I’ve given the currency trading a rest at the moment as I’m earning much more concentrating on Horse racing and Poker, but i will return to it in the future I’m sure. The liquidity may well be the only way I can reach the very highest echelons of the Super-wealthy world.
Anyway, I’ll be back soon.
